A Gympie family business on the tools
Hinterland Towbars was built on a simple idea: workshop-quality towing work, done at your place, without the runaround.
Towing work done the right way
We started Hinterland Towbars because too many people were being sold a towbar and left to sort the rest. A bar bolted on is only half the job. The wiring, the brakes and the way it is all set up for your load are what keep you and everyone behind you safe.
Being fully mobile means we fit you in around your day. We turn up to your home or workplace with a properly kitted van, do the work on the spot and test everything before we leave. You skip the drop-off, the wait and the second trip to pick the car back up.
From a first towbar on a new family car to a brake controller for the new van or a dashcam hardwired in neatly, we treat every job like it is going on our own vehicle.

How we work
-
No shortcuts
We would rather take the extra half hour than hand back a job that is not right. Every fit is to standard.
-
Tailored to your rig
We set the towbar, wiring and brakes up for what you actually tow, not a one-size guess.
-
Local and reachable
We are part of the Gympie community. If something needs a second look, we are not hard to find.
